NOT a bump in the road....

It seems that it wasn't just a bump in the road....we lost our sweet Kristy girl last night around midnight. She isn't suffering anymore.
Many thanks for all of your kindnesses....we are all so grateful.

Molly, thanks for letting us know about Kristy. We are so sorry and saddened by this news. It brought back a lot of sad memories but we know Kristy is not suffering now. She, like Scott, fought a long, hard battle and now they are both at peace. Please tell Kathryn we are praying for her and the rest of the family. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.

Our deepest Sympathy...Pat and Mike

So very sorry about Kristy, Molly. How wonderful that you gave your gift of time and love to be with her and the rest of her family. At least she left this life knowing nothing but love from her famiy and friends.

It is such a shock to open this and see this sad, devastating news after fighting so hard and coming so very far.

She was such a joy to all of those whose lives she touched in even the smallest way. She was taken much too soon for such a special person and who has shared many joys and tears, her life has taught us many things.

We so never wanted to write this… Our thoughts are of her, our thoughts are with her children and family. She will always be a part of us, always. She will be greatly missed.

Always

It is with great sadness that this mornining I lost a sister in the motorcycle community. It has not been long that I have known her but it was truely a blessing to have known her. She had enough courage for all of us. I will alway keep her and her family in my prayers. If the family ever ever needs anything Im just a phone call away..

Always in my Heart.

Kristy is gone now and nothing can bring her back. She has been my best buddy since she was a little tiny girl. I miss her greatly and no amount of praying kept her here. It isn't fair that the good leave us so young. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for my middle daughter. The pain is here and will not go away. What do I do now? Prayer isn't the answer anymore.

I knew Kristy for a short time compared to most of those who read her blog. She and I were matched through Volunteer Services at Massey. We could not be more different... yet we liked one another and shared our lives mostly by email. Kristy was a dear person... a fabulous writer... and very insightful about her own feelings and destiny. Even though her last months were difficult, she fought to be there for her kids. She expressed gratitude to the nurses and staff no matter how much pain she suffered.

If Heaven is what one loved on earth, Kristy is cruising the clouds on a Kawasaki motorcycle! Rest in peace sweet girl.

Hugs,

Judy

I extend my condolences to Kristy's family.
